The office of The Controller General of Accounts appointed 914 (nine hundred & forty one) candidates to the post of Auditor (615) and Junior Auditor (326) through a competitive and fair recruitment process in the month of April-May, 2018. Mentionable, a total of 536 offices under CGA administration were functioning with 57% shortage of manpower since there was on recruitment for the last fourteen years. Having a short course of foundation training on financial rules and regulations, the selected candidates have been posted at different offices under CGA command. The office of CGA has planned to fill up the remaining vacant posts with fair, transparent and competitive recruitment process within the shortest possible time.

The office of the Controller General of Accounts arranges a daylong in-house training session on PFM Reform Strategy, Online Pay Fixation & iBAS++ on 31 January, 2017.
An In-house Training session was organized at CGA office on 9-10 October, 2016. Audit & Accounts Officers of all Chief Accounts Office participated in the training session. CGA Mr. Md. Amir Khasru inaugurated the session.
